Nous allons travailler sur le texte suivant : John drank down a glass of beer and left his grandmother’s empty flat. He had lived with her since he moved to Paris. He was in a good mood. He took the Métro as far as Passy. The station was very small and empty. He climbed the stairs and decided to walk the rest of the way. He had walked this part of the road several times before. The weather was fine and he could hear children playing and shouting in the park nearby. After a little while he stopped in front of a delightful villa. He felt excited .There lived a woman, who was fifteen years older than him and whose acquaintance he had made in a café in April. She was a green-eyed blonde with somewhat dreamy looks and looked as young as him. She had explained to him that she was the wife of an officer and she had had no news from him since the start of the war. He pushed the gate and entered. He took a few steps in the garden and saw her. She was sitting on a bench reading a book. When she saw him, she got up and ran towards him. He held out his arms. He felt as though it was the first time they met. D’après Peter Bullock ( The officer’s wife)
